Secrets and Romance Locket Necklace

This is one of my latest designs from my Etsy store, I really love how it turned out. This is truly my very favourite locket from my stash, I adore it and have finally made a design worthy of it to hang from! I wasn't sure if the design would work as I am extremely fussy with having things look just right, but when I put it together, I saw just how beautifully all the different colours and components pulled together to create a really lovely romantic design.

The necklace is modeled on the gorgeous mannequin that I bought from another Etsy seller and Twitter friend CrochetGal.

My Second Blog Award!!

Sorry for neglecting my blogging lately, but I have been suffering from a really bad dose of the flu, which I cannot seem to shake, I have had it for over 2 weeks now. Because I am taking painkiller/muscle relaxants for my injured jaw, I can't even take cold and flu tablets, as they will react with them, so I am really suffering at the moment.

O.k. now that dose of self-pity is over, I will get down to the real blogging, accepting and passing onto 5 other deserving bloggers my second blog award! I got this fantastic award from my lovely Twitter friend Val, she is one of the sweetest people I have 'met' online and has very quickly become a wonderful friend!! ETSY FRONT PAGE!!!!!!

When I got on the computer this morning, I found an email from my Etsy friend Lisa - www.JustCharming.etsy.com telling me that one of my necklaces was on the FRONT PAGE of Etsy!!! WOW, what a fantastic way to start the day!!! My necklace got 150+ views, 11 extra hearts and my shop got 15 new hearts, all from 1 hour on the front page!

(In case you can't see it, my necklace is in the middle of the bottom row, it is the pink and antique copper heart locket necklace.)
