My Favourite Bracelet (One of anyway!) That I've Made.

This is one of my favourite bracelets that I have made. I love it coz it's so girly and vintage! I love pink, flowers and hearts. This one I always intended to be totally girly and I love how it turned out. Now my 16 year old daughter wants one! She doesn't know if she wants purple with antique silver, or the original colors of pink and copper. Now I have to figure out how much to charge her for it! lol. My Hearts and Flowers Locket Necklace.

When I made this necklace, I was determined to make a simple locket necklace, I wasn't going to add beaded sections along the chain, I wasn't going to add flowers to it, I wasn't going to add so much 'pink color' to it. But as you can see, I FAILED!! What can I say, I love PINK, I love FLOWERS and I love the combination of PINK and COPPER together!!! I just can't seem to do simple and when I do, I don't like it, it feels unfinished. Other designers can and funnily enough I love their simple designs, they don't look unfinished. Oh well, maybe I'll have another go at SIMPLE another day!!

The Hearts and Flowers Locket Necklace is my latest necklace listing on my etsy store, the beads along the double strands of fine antique copper chain are Czech glass milky pink melon beads and between these are gorgeous milky opal pink Czech glass bell flowers. From the front of the necklace, hangs a lovely antique copper locket. The locket is heart-shaped and fully functional, you can keep two photos of loved ones inside your heart! A tiny antique copper heart charm and a gorgeous opal pink flower adorn the front of the locket, turning it from a rather plain necklace into a lovely feminine piece of jewellery. This was the day that one of my jewellery pieces made it to the FRONT PAGE of etsy! Lisa from www.justCHARMING.etsy.com picked my Bronze Pearl Charm Bracelet to go in her treasury and it was picked for the front page. At first I didn't know what was going on as the views on the bracelet kept going up, I thought my computer was playing up (as it usually does!!), then by accident I found Craftcult.com and discovered that my bracelet had been on the front page! To say I was a excited is an understatement!! It was also the start of my friendship with Lisa, who is very helpful with all things etsy and is just a lovely person!

My Absolute Favourite Pieces of Jewellery!!!!!!!

Here are my absolute favourite pieces of jewellery that I have ever made (so far), and that's a big call as I have over 600 pieces of jewellery that I have designed and made myself in my house at the moment!! I love the colors of the tiny glass flowers, they are pink opal and white opal, so they have a lovely blue shine on them. I also love how beautifully the colors of the beads and the flowers go with the antique copper locket and the findings. The color in the photos of the earrings is not perfect, but if you look at the color in the locket necklace, that it very accurate, and the earrings are a perfect match color-wise with the necklace! Copper and pink is my favourite color combination, as they compliment each other so well!!

My beautiful daughter is modelling the necklace, as I could not do it justice in my photos, you could not see just how pretty it was!

Twittering!!!!

My eldest daughter told me that I should join up with 'twitter', so she signed me up and I now have a twitter account!! www.twitter.com/FADjewellery The only problem is that I can't figure out how to use it properly, yet! So she is going to have to give me lessons on how to 'tweet'

For the people who are now following me I will learn how to 'follow' you guys soon, so please don't think that I am snobbing you, I just don't know how to add you yet!!

I'm not very computer savvy, but I am learning. In January, I learnt how to 'blog', started my own 'etsy store' and got gmail, (all thanks to my little brother!) and now I'm learning how to 'tweet' and post blogs with text!! I still make lots of mistakes as this is all very new and different for me. Hopefully my daughter is a fast teacher. I must admit, it is all very exciting and interesting, though, even if it is hard to get my head around all of it!

Winter Dewdrops Earrings and Necklace.

Here are my newest creations, Winter Dewdrops Earrings and Winter Dewdrops Necklace, I love the way the glass drops glow against the dark silver leaf and the dark silver bows. My daughter thought of the idea to put dewdrops on the large leaf pendant and I modified her idea slightly (much to her disgust!!) and then created these pieces of jewellery. These pieces are for sale in my etsy store and the necklace is modeled by my gorgeous daughter!
